Meet the newest member of my family!

Zoey Jane Sillito

Born on Nov 1st at 2:42 pm, 6 lbs 6 oz, and 20".

She is a dream! She is a very calm baby that cries very little. I can hardly believe how pretty she is. I think she looks a lot like Shay as a baby, too. (Minus Shay's ears)
Anyway, I don't know what else I can say, except that I love this little girl to pieces! I can't imagine not having her in my life.

Me in all my glory

Enough Said? Well I'll say a little more anyway. This is me at 37 Weeks, and I'm now 38 weeks along (with the baby) and on my 3rd week with the broken ankle. I saw my doctor today, and we scheduled me to be induced Nov 1st! Which I am excited about. I will still have the boot, but I might be a little less dependant on the crutches at that time. I don't know for sure what that means, but I'll find out at my Ortho appointment later this week (possibly). So, that's some pretty good news all around!

Fix me!

I'm broken. Well, not all of me, but at least my ankle and my spirits. Me and the kids were heading out to the car yesterday just after Jeff had left for work. As I was stepping down the 2 stairs out of the house one of my ankles kind of twisted out (this really happens to me all the time. It's because of how I walk.), and as I was putting my other foot down, I started falling on it, and it twisted my right ankle as well. But, now all my weight was on that ankle and I was falling on it. I kind of caught myself on the side of the van, and I could tell that my ankle had taken it further than ever before, so I knew I should fix the way my leg was. So, I pulled my leg up and over and pain ran up my leg. I knew then that I couldn't put any weight on it, and I tried to sit down on the cold cement before I started to cry. (Boo hoo, I know) Anyway, Shay was very helpfull and got me some pillows so I could put them underneath my leg and Owen was kind enough to get me a little blanket to help keep me warm. I called Jeff and he came home and took me to the hospital for xrays. And the verdict? Well, like I said in the beginning, broken. I broke my tibia down by my ankle. Blah. Can I just say that again? Blah!!!! I can't imagine much worse timing. I'm most likely getting a cast on Monday, and that means 6 weeks with crutches! I'm having a baby in less than 4!!

So, my ankle hurts like crazy when the pain meds aren't working, and I hate cructhes, because it hurts to try to use them to walk. I have to sleep sitting up so I can elevate my ankle. Let's see, can I think of anything else to whine about? Oh, my DVR is downstairs!

Sorry for such a crappy post! Keep reading, I won't always be soo whiny!

FYI

So, I'm 32 weeks pregnant! 2 more months to go and unfortunately that does mean lots more waddling. (I swear I waddle like a duck most of the time. Hate it!) We are having another GIRL! And I'm very excited. I would've been happy with a boy too (a friend for Owen), but I can't wait to do the girly thing again. We haven't picked out a name yet, although there's been one that's just sort of been out there as a main contender. I won't tell you the name, you'll have to guess. (Ha ha!(to be said like Nelson from the Simpsons)) Type your guess in the comments! I'd love to hear what you come up with! Oh, and submit possible middle names to go along with this name...

1) Unique Name
2) She's the love interest from one of Will Ferrels best movies (a Holiday one)
3) I can't come up with any more clues...

Sorry, that's not a lot to go on. I suggest you try imdb.com
Later!

Hello, World!

I am still alive! I didn't realize that it had been soo long since I actually posted something. Sorry about that. So, here's where we are at:

Jeff: Still doing Volunteer Firefighting, working evenings, watching kids all day, and those kinds of things.
Shay: Now in first grade, excellent at riding her scooter and ruling over her brother.
Owen: Potty trained!!! (Knock on wood), fantastic at puzzles, and still hates toothpaste (help!).
Me: Working all day, tired every evening, Den Leader (that's a Scout thing, in case you didn't know), and very very pregnant.

Well, yeah. That's us in a glance. And here's some pictures....

No Work!

At least not today! I am taking the day off to be home with my cute kids while Jeff is busy saving the day for free! (Volunteer Fire Fighter Shift)

And even though I couldn't sleep in 1 minute later than usual(since Shay still had to go to school), I'm already enjoying it. Owen is really funny sometimes. A lot of the time I am so tired from work and the day that I don't really listen to what he's telling me, but today I'm all ears and he's funny! So, hopefully we'll find some more things to do after Shay gets out of school and today will be the best day ever!
